Another extraordinary adventure brought to life by our talented travel team! Incentive Travel Account Manager Letitia Naidoo led our clients on a magical journey through the wonders of Reykjavík, Iceland.
This incentive travel reward was achieved by winners who went beyond just meeting their targets—they exceeded them. With the promise of an unforgettable incentive trip, our goal was to provide clients with an experience they would cherish forever, a magical journey filled with memories to last a lifetime. We delivered on this promise, thanks to our award-winning Incentive Travel Team, who crafted another top-tier adventure.
The lucky winners got to travel to the majestic land of Iceland, also known as a the “Land of Fire and Ice” due to the volcanic and glacial terrains that continue to shape Iceland’s nature.
From exploring the stunning Golden Circle — Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall — to an exhilarating snowmobile safari across Langjökull Glacier and a relaxing dip in the iconic Blue Lagoon, this adventure has been nothing short of spectacular.
The highlight of the trip for most of the lucky travellers was the breathtaking Northern Lights Discovery from Reykjavík Harbour, where the group witnessed a rare, dazzling display of green, pink and even the uncommon elusive red swirling across the night sky. It was truly special, even our local guide was amazed!
One of the participants gushed about the trip and had this to say: “Everything was amazing and so well planned but if there is something that really stood out was all the excursions to Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and seeing the Northern Lights.”
This journey showcased Iceland’s breathtaking beauty and the unforgettable experiences it has to offer.
These premium, unique and truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences serve as a powerful catalyst for driving sales teams to perform at their best. Experiential travel will continue to be the driving force behind incentive travel, establishing it as the ultimate reward option for organisations.
According to the Incentive Travel Index Survey 2024, a key insight revealed that “Incentive travel buyers are increasingly looking for something new, with over 70% of our respondents indicating they are seeking destinations they haven’t used before,” said SITE CEO, Annette Gregg.
We believe Iceland is exactly the kind of underrated and unchartered destination that clients are eager to explore. With its majestic landscapes and awe-inspiring natural phenomena, it’s a rare gem just waiting to be discovered. Who wouldn’t want to experience the breathtaking beauty of the land of ice and snow?
